Requirements

  • Reflective notes – demonstrating learning with respect to:
  • Child and Adolescent Coaching Training (Note: a structure for these notes will be provided after this 2-day training)
  • Mentoring sessions
  • Webinars
  • Reflective essays – Submit 2 essays of 1000-2500 words each from a set list of suggested essay topics which will be provided by NMC. One must focus on coaching children and one must focus on coaching adolescents.
  • Assignment – Submit one 4000-6000-word assignment focusing on child and/or adolescent coaching. Students choose from a list of assignment questions provided by NMC.
  • Evidence Portfolio – students will be required to upkeep and submit a portfolio containing evidence of the coursework carried out (blank EP provided).

About Course

This Level 5 accredited course is specifically designed for accredited/registered coaches, counsellors and therapists. There is a globally growing need for trained professionals to support children and adolescents, both through intervention and by providing appropriate coaching tools and skills to help reduce and prevent mental health challenges. On successful completion of this course, you will be trained and qualified to work as a coach supporting children (4-11 years old) and adolescents (11-18 years old) both inside and outside of a school setting.

On successful completion of this course, you will be trained and qualified to work as a coach supporting children (4-11 years old) and adolescents (11-18 years old) both inside and outside of a school setting.

This course is accredited as a Level 5 course with the IAPC&M.
