After graduating from the University of Sorbonne, Ruta Mikulenaite has been working in business management and sales for big corporations for 12 years.
Following her own reconnection with nature back in 2013, Ruta has been spending an important part of her life outside – climbing, hiking, sleeping under the stars, wild camping, walking in the forests. In 2016 she has climbed Mont Blanc, followed by a solo trek to Everest base camp in 2017 and expedition in Kyrgyzstan in summer 2018 where she climbed yet never climbed peaks above 4000m.
Ruta is a professional neuro-coach (Neuroleadership Institute, London), forest therapy guide (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, USA) and Mountain Leader (Association of Mountain Guides in Switzerland).
In her coaching and facilitation with teams and individuals, she combines research-based nature connection practices and coaching empowered by neuroscience. By creating Be Outside Coaching movement, she has connected her 2 major passions: activities outside and human development.
